What is Local SEO Heatmap?
Local SEO Heatmap is a Google Maps rank tracker. It runs your keyword on Google Maps from a grid of points around your business and colours each point by the rank you hold there, producing a heatmap of where customers can find you and where they cannot.
This matters because Google Maps results change with the searcher's location. A single rank number from your office describes one spot. A geo-grid scan measures the whole service area, so you can see your share of local voice and your average rank position across it.
What you scan
A keyword such as "dentist" or "emergency plumber", on a 3x3 to 15x15 grid, at the radius you serve.
What you get
A rank for every pin, the full top 20 at each point, competitor heatmaps and a shareable report.
Who it is for
Local businesses, freelancers and agencies that report Google Maps visibility to clients.
Features
Everything a rank tracker should do, nothing it should not.
We studied every geo-grid tool on the market and kept the parts agencies actually use.

Choose the radius that matches the area you serve. Every pin is a real search run from that coordinate.
Who beats you, pin by pin

Compare any two scans
Side-by-side grids with the change at each pin, so you can prove the work moved the needle.
Scheduled re-scans
Weekly, every 3 days or daily. Email alerts when a tracked keyword drops out of the map pack.
Client-ready reports

FAQ
Questions people ask before their first scan.
What is a geo-grid rank scan?
A geo-grid scan searches Google Maps for your keyword from many points around your business, for example 49 points on a 7x7 grid, and records your rank at each one. The result is a heatmap that shows where you win and where competitors beat you.
Why does my rank change from street to street?
Google weighs distance heavily in local results. Someone searching two blocks away sees a different list than someone across town. A single rank number hides that. The grid shows the real picture.
How accurate are the results?
Each pin is a real Google Maps search run from that coordinate. Results match what a person at that spot would see on their phone at that moment, apart from personalisation. We never estimate or interpolate ranks.
How do credits work?
One credit is one pin searched on the map. A 7x7 scan has 49 pins so it costs 49 credits, and a 15x15 scan costs 225. Each plan includes a monthly amount (Starter 7,500, Growth 13,500, Agency 29,000). You see the cost before you run a scan, pins that fail are not charged, and credits renew each month without rolling over. Scheduled re-scans use credits too, and if they run out the scheduled scans are skipped until they renew.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, on the Starter plan. You add a card to begin, you are not charged for 14 days, and you can cancel any time before it ends to pay nothing. After 14 days the card is charged for Starter. Growth and Agency have no trial and are billed from day one. You can move up to a higher plan once your subscription is active.
How do I check my Google Maps ranking?
Searching Google yourself shows one location and is shaped by your own search history. To check your Google Maps ranking properly, run a geo-grid scan: the same keyword is searched from many fixed coordinates around your business and your rank is recorded at each one, so you see your visibility across the whole area.
